Rheology Modifier(Organoclay)
Organoclay is a specially modified bentonite treated with quaternary ammonium salts. This surface treatment transforms the naturally hydrophilic clay into an organophilic material, making it fully dispersible in organic solvents and resin systems. As a non-reactive rheology modifier, it builds a controllable thixotropic network through particle-particle interaction and swelling. This unique mechanism delivers consistent viscosity, sag control, and anti-settling performance across a wide range of non-aqueous formulations.
